A revision version of the Y250 called the Rexton W, was released in 2012 by Mahindra & Mahindra of which SsangYong is a subsidiary. The Rexton W introduced the new 2.0-liter XDi diesel engine Euro 5 with standard DPF come from the small Korando, new front grille with new headlights and retuned chassis. The 3.2-liter petrol engine retuned for Euro 5 standard.
