On April 12, 2017, Lincoln introduced the officially designed fourth generation Navigator at the 2017 New York Auto Show. This version, like the fourth generation Expedition, is designed to be lighter, more spacious and luxurious than the previous generation, losing 200 pounds with a new aluminum body and features a new 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
