In 1994 the seventh generation Cadillac DeVille appeared with the redesign of the model to share the K-body platform with the Seville mark. Despite the redesign of the body the wheelbase remained 113.8 inches—rather than the 111 inches used on the Seville. Production moved to Hamtramck, Michigan.
